This is to re-confirm your participation as a speaker and as a panelist at the San Francisco Examiner Home Buyers & Sellers Fair scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, March 12 and 13, 1994 at the Concourse Exhibition Center at Eighth and Brannan Streets in San Francisco.
Your role will be to serve as a speaker on the How to Buy a House in California, 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 13. Six or seven government and industry experts will serve on each home-buying panel. There will be no speeches--instead, a question and answer format. Journalists from the San Francisco Examiner and other media professionals will serve as moderators to help generate and screen questions from the audience.
During the panel discussions, it is important to be sensitive to the cultural and ethnic differences of your audience. Also, please avoid using acronyms or industry jargon that might confuse the public. Please note that panel members will be seated in directors chairs facing the audience.
You will also be serving as a panelist on Expert Panels on Home Buying, What to Buy and How to Make the Purchase, 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12.
The day of fair on which you are speaking, please report to the speakers table 20 minutes before your scheduled appearance to check in and pick up your "Speaker" badge.
Thank you again for agreeing to participate. We look forward to seeing you.
